This linocut was created from an experience in which I felt that fear can indeed wash over me like a wave – but that in truth, I am the ocean beneath it. Vast, powerful, and carried by a deep calm.

This goddess allows herself to be carried by the waves. Her hair itself becomes water, movement, flow. She doesn't fight the waves – she trusts that she is held.

She reminds me to soften when fear arises. To sink into the feeling that something greater is carrying me. May this print also remind you that you are more than the waves of your thoughts and your fear – that within you lies an ocean, vast and unshakable.
