Forest Kinship - Linocut

"Forest Kinship" reminds you that we are not separate from nature, but part of a living community – interwoven with the beings, plants, and landscapes around us.

This linocut tells of the feeling of peace, security, and belonging that can be found in a deep connection to the natural world. The woman, nestled among foxes and wild herbs, symbolises a quiet kinship between humans, animals, and plants – a mutual trust, far from hierarchy or separation. "Forest Kinship" speaks of closeness, protection, and the ancient feeling of being connected.

This print was particularly inspired by a family of foxes that settled very close to my house. Again and again, I get to observe the four young foxes from a respectful distance – small encounters that deeply move me and remind me how close wild nature sometimes actually is, if we stay attentive.

Foxes and native wild herbs weave together here into a quiet tapestry of warmth, wildness, and security, inviting us to feel like a part of the landscape again.
